about
My work is driven by a deep curiosity about people. If I can honor the wonderful idiosyncrasies of each person I film, capture a true expression of who they are, and channel something of our shared human experience on camera—all that, plus a good cup of coffee—that’s a good day.
I was one of the founding directors at Courageous Studios, Warner Bros. Discovery’s award-winning brand studio, helping shape the voice of a new era in brand storytelling. Over eight years, I pitched and directed dozens of campaigns for brands including Morgan Stanley, Chevy, Expedia, GM, Coors Light, Roberto Coin, and more.
Before that, I was a video journalist and photographer at The Denver Post, where my work earned an international News and Documentary Emmy nomination, multiple Edward R. Murrow Awards, and contributed to a staff Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Reporting.
I studied photojournalism at Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications. But really, I’ve been chasing stories since I was a lanky kid in the backseat of my parents’ car, lost in chapter books and begging my dad to spin one more tale before we got home.
When I’m not making films, I’m probably outside—rafting 227 miles through the Grand Canyon, skiing the Powder Highway in British Columbia, or sea kayaking off the coast of Maine.
